Pancho
is an 8 yr old Lab St.Weiler (1/2 Labrador, 1/4 St.Bernard, and 1/4
Rottweiler). He was born in Tallahasse, and I adopted him after his mother,
Harley (1/2 St.Bernard 1/2 Rottweiler) was injured by a car and I found her 12
puppies barely cared for.
Pancho has been canoeing, fishing and camping since puppyhood. His other hobbies include patrolling the beach, skateboard pulling, philosophy and pickup trucks. He is very good in a canoe and understands about keeping in the center. He has never tipped the canoe over, even when I dropped a sea trout on his head on the very trip this picture was taken.
Pancho understands fishing and guards the bait bucket when we surf fish. He also supervises the safe release of fish and makes sure they swim away.
Pancho reminds all anglers to never discard monofilament fishing line. It is dangerous to all life in our precious estuaries and oceans, including your own. Always recover your fishing line and take it to the nearest Brevard County Monofilament Recycling and Recovery Program bin. These bins are now located at boat ramps and fishing accesses all over Brevard County.
