This is Pancho's wife, Symphony, the St. Bernard, with her kitten, Tintoretto.  Symphony had nine puppies of her own before she was spayed, but never lost her maternal instinct.

She is a natural born nurse.  She can tell your vital signs, blood sugar level and general health with just one sniff, and if she decides you are not healthy she will try to "rescue" you.

I found the kitten, Tintoretto, in the streets of Miami one night with severe malnutrition and a bad respiratory infection.  When I brought him home, Symphony immediately adopted him and took over his care.  They have been almost inseparable ever since.
