Dental procedures are performed under gas anesthesia- Isoflurane/Sevoflurane- , local blocks are used if necessary to avoid any discomfort. Every patient is closely monitored during anesthesia and recovery time. Our dental prophylaxis include scaling, polishing, fluoride treatment & OraVet application. After a thorough oral exam to evaluate the grade of periodontal disease and presence/absence of periodontal pockets, a complete set of digital Xrays are taken to asses any pathology under the gum line.
Every patient is sent home with an After Care Oral Hygiene Kit, which includes oral rinse, toothpaste and fingerbrush. Not only, before/after picture are taken for the owner to take home, but also copies of the dental Xrays, pet's dental chart and useful information on oral health.
