Sugar Glider neuter

Neuter or castration is done under general gas anesthesia, the area on and around the scrotum  is clipped and cleaned. The surgeon will do a small incision along the neck of the scrotum, ligate the blood vessels for each testicle before removing them, the skin will be surgically glued. No stitches are required. This procedure is very delicate considering the very small size of the patient's spermatic cord . Anesthesia in this tiny patients needs to be monitored closely.
